In literature and dreams arches, gates, windows and doors symbolize transition. Looking out a window from the enclosed space of our safe, inner world, where our experiences, ideas, thoughts, hopes and dreams are stored to where they find a doorway into the outer world going free, breaking forth and take flight into the vast expanse of achievements. Additionally, arches can support great weight giving strength to the transition and courage to move forward.
