Family and Group Portrait Information
Families change so fast. Children grow up and new members join the clan. I would be honored to photograph your family.
Here’s how to get the most from your portrait session ~
Location, location, location! I prefer to make your portraits in the natural light of outdoors. We’ll go to your favorite place or I’ll suggest a spot, typically one of the beautiful local parks, around your town, or at your home.
Time of the session: the best light for outdoor photographs is generally 1 hour before and after sunrise or sunset. Please keep that in mind when planning your shoot.
Dates: As the images will be taken outdoors, please have at least two dates in mind in case of uncooperative weather.
Looking your best: Of course, be yourselves! I recommend wearing solid color shirts, tops, sweaters. Medium tones work the best. Avoid logos or text on your shirts. They distract from the most important part of a portrait - your faces. You can wear the same color, same or different tones, or choose two colors that work well together. Blue jeans, khaki or black pants or jeans always look nice, especially if everyone wears the same. There are lots of variations that look great so please contact me if you need more specific ideas. Have hair and beards trimmed and styled as you like it, bring a comb and a bit of hairspray. Ladies, a touch of make-up is usually a good idea. Men, please wear dark socks.
Your investment... $200.00 + for up to 6 people. Pets and/or each additional 1-3 people will be $25.00 more. Think of photography as an investment, something that you pay for now which gives back to you in the future.

- My travel up to 1 hours from Rochester
- 2 hours in a location of your choice or one I suggest. We are fortunate in the Rochester area to have many scenic and beautiful locations practically in our backyard!
- Custom re-touching and processing of all images
- On-line photo gallery for viewing and ordering prints and other products for two years
- USB drive of all edited images for web/electronic use
- $75.00 print credit
Guarantee: If you are not happy with your photos I will reshoot them for free. No need to worry - you WILL look your best!
