We spent an enjoyable week in the Great Smoky Mountains April 18-23, 2011. Many wildflowers were blooming and the trees were green yet not quite fully leafed out.

Cade's Cove is magical in the morning. Roaring Fork and Tremont are also favorite places we explored. I could spend days there.

I never got the dramatic sunrise or sunset shots I had hoped for - it was cloudy and gray both times of the day but we had wonderful warm weather all week and plenty of sunshine.

Thanks for looking. I hope you enjoy a bit of our trip by viewing these images.
