After 30 years Naples has finally won the championship called Lo Scudetto. Not only was this a big deal because it had been 30 years, it is a big deal because most of those 30 losses have come at the hands of the wealthy, northern Italian cities and there exists a fair amount of "racism" on the part of the north toward the south. The south is seen as backward, lazy, ignorant and the southerners see this victory as more than just evening the score in sports.
