The Chapel of St. Kinga was carved out of salt 331 ft deep in the Wieliczka Salt Mine.
The altar, chandeliers and floor are completely of salt. It is the pride of the miners and the crown jewel of the mine. Measuring 50 x 101 feet and 36 ft. high, it can accommodate up to 400 people. Concerts, Masses and weddings are held here.
